Dummy Flight

A dummy flight is a real seat, held with the airline, that you have not paid the fare for. It exists because visa applications ask for a confirmed flight — and buying a real ticket before the visa is approved risks the money.

It is not a fake document. We block an actual seat, and the reservation carries the airline's own PNR, which the consulate can check on the airline's website.

What a dummy flight is

• A genuine reservation held in the airline's system
• Carrying the airline's own PNR, not an invented reference
• Valid for a limited time, then it expires on its own
• Unpaid — no fare has been charged

What it is not

• Not a purchased ticket, and not a boarding pass
• Not an edited screenshot or a made-up PDF — consulates check these, and reject them
• Not a guarantee of a visa

How to get one

1. Tell us your route and dates
2. Pay the small reservation fee
3. We block the seat with the airline
4. The reservation arrives by email as a PDF, usually within minutes

Most people need one for a visa file, for proof of onward travel at check-in, or to satisfy an employer or university that a trip is booked. Some consulates do require a fully paid ticket — check your own embassy's wording before you apply.
